明治用水の歴史：
1879年（明治12年）から昼夜兼行で進められた新水路の工事は、翌年に完工し、
翁の夢は「明治用水」として実現しました。

History of Meiji Irrigation water:
Construction of a new aqueduct advanced for cumulative day and night from 1879 (Meiji 12) was completed in the following year, Old man's dream was realized as "Meiji water".

明治用水の完成により、不毛の原野は次々と開墾されて美田となり、今日の農業の基盤を築くこととなりました。「日本デンマーク」とうたわれた"安城"の農業基盤は、都築弥厚翁の夢から始まったのです。

By the completion of Meiji Irrigation water, barren wilderness was reclaimed one after another and became a paddy field, and it was decided to build the foundation of today's agriculture. The agricultural foundation of "Anjo" who was told as "Japan Denmark" began with the dream of Tsuzuki Yakou.
