October 1, 2006

From October 2, China Airlines will increase the number of flights between Nagoya and Kaohsiung, Taiwan from twice to four times a week using Boeing737-800.

From October 29, Japan Airlines will increase the number of flights between Nagoya and Guangzhou from three times a week to daily using Boeing767-300. Instead, Japan Airlines will suspend the route between Nagoya and Manila.

Tramsmile Air Service has suspended the cargo flight between Nagoya and Kuala Lumpur.

May 28, 2006

From July 2, China Airlines will inaugurate a new route between Nagoya and Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It will operate twice a week(Wednesday and Sunday) using Boeing737-800.

From July 10, Eva Air will inaugurate a new route between Nagoya and Taipei. It will operate 5 times a week(Except Thursday and Sunday) using Airbus A330-200. This will be the first time that it operate Nagoya route.

February 12, 2006

From March 26, Air New Zealand will suspend the route between Nagoya and Auckland due to the decrease of the tourists from Japan to New Zealand and low yields.

From February 23, All Nippon Airways will inaugurate the cargo flights between Nagoya and Saga, Japan. All Nippon Airways will operate daily using Boeing767-300F. This will be the first domestic cargo flight from Centrair.

December 18,2005

Emirates will inaugurate the route between Nagoya and Dubai from June 1, 2006. Emirates will operate every Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,and Saturday using Boeing777-200ER in June. And Emirates will increase to daily from July. In addition, Emirates will upgrade to Airbus A340-500 from September.

October 30,2005

American Airlines susupends the route between Nagoya and Chicago due to the increase of fuel costs and the weakness of the business demand.

From January 14, 2006, Air Bridge Cargo will inaugurate the cargo flights between Nagoya and Frankfurt via Krasnoyarsk. Air Bridge Cargo will operate twice a week using Boeing747-300SF.

September 25,2005

From September 16, China Southern Airlines has inaugurated the route between Nagoya and Chanchun, China. China Southern Airlines operates twice a week using Airbus A319.

From October 29, All Nippon Airways will increase the flights between Nagoya and Shanghai,Pudong from 4 times a week to daily. And All Nippon Airways will begin to add the routes of the cargo flights from November using Boeing767-300F.

From December 23, Air Nippon, a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways will inaugurate the route between Nagoya and Taipei. Air Nippon will operate daily using Boeing737-700.

August 28,2005

From June 3,2006, Finair will inaugurate the route between Nagoya and Helsinki. Finair will operate three times a week using McDonnell Douglas MD11.

From September 2005, Nippon Cargo Airlines will increase the cargo flights from Centrair.
Nippon Cargo Airlines will inaugurate the cargo flight between Nagoya and Frankfurt via Amsterdam. It will be operated once a week.
In addition, Nippon Cargo Airlines will increase the cargo flights between Nagoya and Chicago, and between Nagoya and Asian citys.

From September 3,Transmile Air Services will inaugurate the cargo flight betwen Nagoya and Kuala Lumpur. Transmile Air Services will operate three times a week using McDonnell Douglas MD11F.

Lufthansa Cargo will inaugurate the route between Nagoya and Frankfurt from the end of September. Lufthansa Cargo will operate twice a week using McDonnell Douglas MD11F.

June 26,2005

Evergreen International Airlines has inaugurated Nagoya from this month. Evergreen International Airlines operates twice a week using Boeing747-100F/-200F. This flight is bound for Columbus, and it's origin is Hong Kong.

Australian Airlines will increase the flights between Nagoya and Cains on Wednesday and Friday from August 3 until October 28. Australian Airlines will operate 9 times a week in this period.

Northwest Airlines will resume the route Between Nagoya and Guam from November 1. Northwest Airlines will operate daily using Boeing757-200. It had suspended from September 1998.

JAL Ways will suspend the route Between Nagoya and Guam from November due to the low yields.

May 23,2005

From July 29,Vietnam Airlines will inaugurate the route between Nagoya and Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam Airlines will operate every Monday,Wednesday,and Friday using Boeing767-300ER

From May 16,All Nippon Airways began to operate the route between Nagoya and Shanghai every Monday,Wednesday,Friday,and Sunday using Boeing767-300ER. All Nippon Airways intends to increase daily as soon as possible.

March 6,2005

From April 29,United Airlines will inaugurate between Nagoya and Taipei. United Airlines will operate on daily using Boeing777-200ER. It will be extended a route between Nagoya and San Francisco.

From March 28,Cathay Pacific Airways will add the direct flights between Nagoya and Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific Airways will add 3 times a week which will depart Nagoya on 4:35p.m. from April 3. In addition,Cathay Pacific Airways will add 4 times a week which will depart Nagoya on 10:15p.m. from March 28.

Malaysia Airlines suspended the cargo flights between Nagoya and Kuala Lumpur before the opening of Centrair.

February 6,2005

From February 23,China Airlines will inaugurate the cargo flight between Nagoya and Taipei. China Airlines will operate once a week using Boeing747-400F.

From June,Evergreen International Airlines will inaugurate the cargo flight between Nagoya and Columbus,USA. Evergreen International Airlines will operate 5 times a week using Boeing747F.

All Nippon Airways will change the type of aircraft from Airbus A320 to Boeing767-300ER in the route between Nagoya and Seoul(Incheon) until March 27 bacause of the high demand. And All Nippon Airways differs the inauguration between Nagoya and Shanghai(Pudong) for a while.

From March 2,Singapore Airlines Cargo will inaugurate the cargo flights between Nagoya and Singapore. Singapore Airlines Cargo will operate twice a week(Wednesday and Saturday) using Boeing747-400F.

United Airlines moves up the inauguration between Nagoya and San Francisco. It will be operated from March 26,2005.

From March 2,Philippine Airlines will inaugurate between Nagoya and Manila. It will be operated every Monday,Wednesday,Friday,and Sunday using Airbus A330-300.

From February 17,2005,All Nippon Airways will inaugurate the cargo routes from Tokyo(Narita) for Tianjin,China via Nagoya and from Tokyo(Narita) for Shanghai(Pudong) via Nagoya. The flights For Tianjin will depart Nagoya 1:10 a.m every Thursday,Saturday and Sunday. The flights for Shanghai will depart Nagoya 1:10 a.m. every Tuesday and Friday. Both routes will be operated on Boeing767-300F.

From February 17,2005,Nakanihon Airline Service will change the name. The new name will become "Air Central".

From February 17,2005,Asiana Airlines will increase the flights between Nagoya and Seoul,Incheon from 11 times a week to twice a day. All the flights will be operated on Boeing767-300.

From February 17,2005,Korean Air will increase the flights between Nagoya and Seoul,Incheon from daily to twice a day. New second daily flights will be operated on Boeing737-900 although current daily flights are operated either Boeing777-300 or Boeing747-400. And Also,Korean Air will increase the flights between Nagoya and Busan from 4 times a week to daily. Busan route will be operated on Boeing737-900.

From April 3,2005,American Airlines will inaugurate the new route between Nagoya and Chicago. American Airlines will operate daily using Boeing777-200ER. Flight27 will arrive at Nagoya 3:45 p.m. and flight26 will depart from Nagoya 6:00 p.m.

From the opening of Centrair,Lufthansa German Airlines will add the number of the flights between Nagoya and Frankfurt from 3 or 5 times a week to daily. But there is no operation on February 17,2005(The day of opening Centrair) and February 19.

October 11,2004

From June 1,2005,United Airlines will inaugurate the new route between Nagoya and San Francisco. United Airlines will operate daily using Boeing777-200ER. Flight831 will arrive at Nagoya 4:40 p.m. and flight830 will depart from Nagoya 3:40 p.m.

All Nippon Airways ordered 2 further Bombardier DHC8-400. These airplanes will be operated on domestic routes from Chubu International Airport by Nakanihon Airline Service.

United Airlines began to consider the inauguration between Nagoya and San Francisco or between Nagoya and Chicago after the opening of Chubu International Airport.

All Nippon Airways will inaugurate between Nagoya and Fukushima,Japan when the opening of Chubu International Airport. All Nippon Airways will operate once or twice a day using Fokker50. And All Nippon Airways will inaugurate Bombardier DHC8-400 instead of Fokker50 by the end of March, 2006.

Korean Air is planning to inaugurate the cargo flight between Nagoya and Seoul,Incheon after the opening of Chubu International Airport. Korean Airlines will operate the cargo flight once a week using Boeing747F. And Korean Air is also planning to increase the nunber of the passenger flights between Nagoya and Seoul,Incheon from once a day to twice a day.

Fedex dedided to inaugurate Chubu International Airport using McDonnell Douglas MD11F when the opening of it. Fedex will disclose the route and frequency in October.

Japan Airlines will inagurate between Nagoya and Guangzhou,China when the opening of Chubu International Airport. Japan Airlines will operate 3 times a week using Boeing767.

Austrian Airlines is planning to inaugurate between Nagoya and Vienna when the opening of Chubu International Airport. Austrian Airlines is considering to operate 3 times a week.

Nakanihon Airline Service disclosed a polocy that NAL is going to become a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways when the opening of Chubu International Airport. NAL decided to move from Nagoya Airport to Chubu International Airport. And NAL is considering to introduce the new airplane such as Bombardier DHC8-400. NAL will gradually withdraw Fokker50 in the future.

KLM-Royal Dutch Airlines is considering to inaugurate between Nagoya and Amsterdam after the opening of Chubu International Airport. KLM is planning to operate 3 or 4 times a week initially, and KLM wants to operate daily as soon as possible. KLM had operated between Nagoya and Amsterdam via Sapporo until January in 2002.

Finnair is considering to inaugurate between Nagoya and Helsinki after the opening of Chubu International Airport. Finnair is considering to operate 3 times a week.

Nakanihon Airline Service is planning to move from Nagoya Airport when the opening of Chubu International Airport. NAL is operating 6 routes from Nagoya using 4 Fokker50.

All Nippon Airways released the inauguration between Nagoya and Shanghai(Pudong),and between Nagoya and Seoul(Incheon) when the openig of Chubu International Airport on February 17,2005. ANA is planning to operate to Shaghai once a day using Boeing767-300ER. And ANA is planning to operate to Incheon once a day using Airbus A320 or Airbus A321. It will be the first operation that ANA's Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 will be operated as the international scheduled flights.

Japan Airlines System released the inauguration between Nagoya and Paris when the opening of Chubu International Airport. This route will be operated daily and using Boeing777-200ER,and it will be a codeshare flights with Air France. And JAL will increase between Nagoya and Bangkok, and between Nagoya and Busan,South Korea from 4 times a week to daily. In addition,JAL is considering to inaugurate from Nagoya for Guangzhou or Dalian,China. JAL is also planning to inaugurate a new cargo route from Nagoya for the U.S in 3 times a week.

Nippon Cargo Airlines released the inauguration for Chubu International Airport. NCA will operate for South East Asia in 3 or 4 times a week and the U.S. in once or twice a week. NCA is also considering to increase the flights from autumn in 2005.

All Nippon Airways is planning to inaugurate between Nagoya and Seoul(Incheon),between Nagoya and Shanghai when the opening of Chubu International Airport. ANA will operate both routes once a day. And ANA is also considering to inaugurate a few Asian routes from Chubu International Airport after the opening of Chubu International Airport.

According to Nikkei Shinbun(Newspaper),Japan Airlines System is considering to resume routes from Nagoya for Europe and the U.S.A. when the opening of Chubu International Airport. JAL suspended between Nagoya and London,between Nagoya and Los Angeles after the terrorism in the U.S.A. JAL is also considering to expand the network from Nagoya for South East Asia.

From today,Japan Airlines System(JAL) and All Nippon Airways(ANA) will inaugurate the airplanes which are pictured the official mascot of EXPO2005 in Aichi. The official mascots of EXPO2005 are both "Morizo" and "Kiccoro" and it will be held near Nagoya from March 25,2005 until September 25. The fist airplane of JAL will become Boeing767-300,and the first airplanes of ANA will become Airbus A320. About 10 airplanes will be pictured the mascot.

The opening of Chubu International Airport is put forward by 30 days. The new opening day is February 17 in 2005. Despite the construction of this airport was delayed about 6 months,the construction makes progress smoothly. And all of the scheduled flights will move from Nagoya Airport to Chubu International Airport. But it is stil unclear if the commuter airlines which operate the airplanes less than 60 seats will move to Chubu International Airport too.

Japan Airlines,All Nippon Airways and Japan Air System decided to become the official airlines of EXPO 2005 AICHI which will be held in Nagoya area (Includes Seto city,Toyota city and Nagakute town),Aichi Prefecture,Japan from March 25,2005 to September 25. In 2005,Chubu International Airport will open in Nagoya area.

Air France is considering the resumption of the route between Nagoya and Paris,France in 2005, when the opening of Chubu International Airport.
Air France was inaugurating Nagoya Airport until March,1999.

Lufthansa German Airlines is considering the daily operation of the route between Chubu International Airport and Frankfurt,Germany. Chubu International Airport will be the new international airport in Nagoya area ,and will open in March 2005.
Now,Lufthasa German Airlines operates five flights a week in the route between Nagoya and Frankfurt.
